My "next door" neighbor lives three quarters of a mile away at the foot of the mountain that I live higher up on. He runs a horse ranch. So there are lots of horses where I live. Not just one. He has donkeys and llamas too. And I have a pet goat. My house is small, but it has plumbing and all the usual electrical appliances. I burn wood in the winter, and I could cook on my woodstove if I had to.
