Have you read all the hype surrounding this??!!! It's shocking! First off there are urban myths flying all over the place about how the poor kid in the ad had killed himself due to bullying, then it changed to he died of cancer and the real truth of it is he is in hiding in his native South Africa because people found the ad soooo irritating he is getting death threats!! I mean come on! The advert is extremely annoying but I bet for all of you who have seen it, know the song, know the tune and know exactly what cereal it is advertising straight away! Kellogs have done good with this as it has had more attention than the war on Iraq!
I feel sorry for that poor boy in the ad. He was only acting and to be fair I would have acted the idiot to be paid what he was probably paid!
It is an annoying advert however.

Yes I read all this too! My best friends brother mentioned 2 months ago that he had topped himself so I checked it on snopes but they dismissed it and stated he was alive and well in South Africa....however they didn't say he was getting terrorised! I read all about his terror and death threats in one of the red tops a couple of days ago! The poor, annoying boy!
God that advert irritated me though....

I knew the advert annoyed the hell out of me and my mates but didn't realise it was a nationwide thing! Hadn't heard the rumours about the actor, but personally felt like slapping him if I ever saw him, whether it was his job or not to act the fool. I've heard the saying "There's no such thing as bad publicity", but this advert is definitly bad for Frosties. Fair enough it's memorable, but for all the wrong reasons. Now if I see a box of Frosties on the supermarket shelf I think of the annoying 16 year ol' lad acting a 13 year old in the advert and look at other options!
Why couldn't Frosties stick to their tried and tested loveable Tony the Tiger, nice and simple. He's Grrrrrrrrrreat compared to the moron in the new advert!

its very sad to hear that the kid has been driven to the point where he has to run away to save his life, over appearing in an advert. but at the same time its also very funny. this only proves that there are alot of people here in the uk with nothing else better to do . but but but it was a very annoying advert. not bad enough for me to want to HUNT DOWN THE LITTLE BAS TARD WHO APPEARS ON IT AND STRING HIM UP BY HIS NUTS.

I think that it's a strange advert, but I didn't know anything about it's effects on the boy who did all that singing and dancing. Where does this information come from?
