in a nice way say when are you planning to leave give the person at least 2 months to find the place to live

serve them with a 30 day notice! if they are staying with you! this is the action you must take! even if they spent the week with you,and they didnt want to leave they could say f that and post up in your house! you must serve them to get them gone!

I tell them that I have to get up early and they usually excuse themselves if it is at night. If it is during the day, tell them you have errands to run.

Become a slob (if they are your roomate), if they are a guest, tell them that you have to get up early or you have to go somewhere.
