I saw it and thought it wasn't that bad. I wouldn't say it's great but it's not that bad. I thought the ending was sort of shocking when Nic Cage had to die.

Yes and it did not stick to the original story line totally, but they did a nice job. The main character dies in the original too, of course, and that is the whole point of the film. Too bad you let the ending out for those who have not yet seen it.

I thought it was alright, I was expecting better. By the middle of the movie I realized it wasn't the girl Rowan, but Nick Cage that was the target.
