No, it's too big and besides it will stay open as a tribute to him. I visited the zoo in Melbourne and Sydney and they are beautiful.

Honestly, I don't think that the zoo will close. It may have a memorial there for Mr. Irwin, and it may have a special event on Mr. Irwin's B-day. But I don't think that it will close. Many places have unfortunate accidents happen there and they do not close. Think of the Space Shuttles that have had untimely deaths. Its kind of tough but in this world, life must go on.

I would have to say no. Someone as popular as Steve Irwin only becomes more popular after his death. People will want to go to the zoo to see what "the crocodile hunter" established. Not to mention, it's still a family legacy.

It's possible. He truly was the life of that place. Though the "Croc Hunter Diaries" on Animal Planet have made the staff very popular here in the states, so it's possible it'll go on. I hope it does. It was a terrible loss to us all when Steve Irwin died.

NO I don't believe it will close. I do feel that the children in there older years will continue his legacy, especially Bindi Sue because she has already began that journey right along side Steve. We will all miss Steve but CRICKEY at the memories we all have of him on The Animal Planet Channel. His spirit will never die..........

He died when he was cool, didn't he? Soon we'll have enormous statues of stingrays, to commemorate the loss of the Great Australian Icon. Surely Irwinist protestants are being erected as we speak, fighting crocodiles over the blood of Steve Crikey Christ?

I don't think they will close the zoo. When ever you see specials of the zoo they were all like a family. If anything they will continue their work in memory of him. ;)
