My favorite places are wide and varied-but give me nature anytime,Trees, forests, wildlife, hiking. What is your best get-away.A theme park? or what?

My best get away is home. There is nothing like being able to spend time by yourself in the place where all of your belongings are...and not have to worry about anything. I can go for a walk, watch a movie, take a bath, have a snack, or take a nap. Pretty much everything I could want is at home...(of course I couldn't stay there long-I'd get bored)

I completely agree with you on the nature thing. I went hiking on Labor Day and found this really cool nearly fossilized jawbone. I asked my anthropology prof. what is was and it turns out to be either a deer or an oxen approx. 100-200 yrs old. He told me all kinds of stuff by just looking at it! I found the skull of some other creature just a few months before. When I don't go there I like to go to the lake and look out at the water especially at sunset. Sorry I rambled a little bit there but nature is one of my passions and humans should apprciate it more

with 3 kids the only way I get away is going to the bathroom with a magazine and even then the 3 yr old always has to pee.

i personally just love to get in my car, crank up the music, and drive to random places. i get some time to myself, time to think and reflect, and relax. i especially like to drive through very scenic places like the country.

i like to swing on the swings at my old elementary school and think. it also calms me down when i am worried, sad, or mad.
