It depends on where you live ...What the weather is going to be like when you have the party. How about a murder mystery party for the adults ... and other games for the kids. And great food. Lobster and Brisket sounds good ... with salad, pesto and lots of fresh fruit. You know if you can still BBQ where you are.

What about a star party. You could have telescopes and binoculars out for star gazing. If the sky doesn't cooperate you could have star lights in the trees and bushes and planets made out of balloons etc.

Or how about an autumn leaves party. You could have the tables decorated with either leaves cut out of tissue or craft paper or actual leaves gathered from your area. The kids could have white paper leaf cut-out that they get to color and put onto a corkboard. If you got a lot of little door prizes/gifts, they could be written onto little leaves and each guest pulls one out of the hat to see what they get. You could make a game out of people trying to name the tree by the shape of different leaves ( like maple, oak, etc.)

do you have any idea of what you'd like..... you could start with just a colour or something & then start searching images on the net until something inspires you.... if you have time to just play around like that you can probably find something beautiful that will give you an idea... doesnt sound too helpful but in my experience its better to just find something to inspire you than have someone else think up some kind of theme - have a good party! :)
