I don't think we will ever forget- It is perhaps one of our single greatest national tragedies. Regardless of your political beliefs, the callous destruction of the lives of ordinary everyday people is a crime against God, no matter what you call your God.

I'm not an american...but I will never forget...I worked for a major international airline for 31 years until just a few years after that..I remember thinking that my job would never again be the same..I had never imagined anyone using an airplane as a weapon. I think that 9/11/01..will always be remembered...such a terrific loss--not only to the US..but to the whole world..It's one of those days in history like the day JFK was assassinated or Princess Di died..;..you never forget.

09/11/01 has a especial place in my heart. I lost one of my bestfriends when the towers fell.
I always light candles to remember that horrific incident.

Oh Honey, not a day goes by that I don't remember them. I just don't watch anything on it any more. I remember watching the "original" showing until they started filming people jumping out of windows to escape burning to death. There was one couple who jumped holding hands. Then I remember screaming and I couldn't stop. There's been a flag flying outside on our house since that day. I remember.

Don't you worry. We will never forget. I was on my way to work when I found out it happened. I should have turned around when I found out. When I got to work which was near an army base they would not let anyone come or go. So we were stuck there listening to this horrible tragedy on the radio. I'm so sorry to all of you who lot a loved one. I'm so sorry...

I agree we need to remember the ones we lost... but we also need to remember the stories of people being late to work, missing their flight, and other such things... The miracles, as well as the tragedy.

i regret that 911 happened, and when I think too much of what cruel things humans do to each other, I lose sleep. However I don't believe 911 is any more worth remembering than any other tragedy in the world -- tidal waves, earthquakes, volcanoes, tornados, hurricanes, and and all the "smaller" tragedies -- death due to faults of other drunk drivers, child abuse, elderly abuse, etc. I think all the human loss from all the tragedies is worth pondering for the good of human progress.

This section is as appropriate as any. I lost two good friends when the towers fell, one was gay the other straight. Both were good friends and thus, it is not at all out of place, if anything, it shows just how much alike we all are.

It does have a lot to do with this section. We need to pray for those that were lost and the souls of those who did the harm. And thank God for allowing us to be Americans
We need to remember the Holocaust survivors motto
"Never Forget"
