Guys are "Visual Creatures", they notice everything about girls that way. Maybe it's your body language that is pissing him off.
You might be sending out signals to other guys, that he is noticing, and he is a little jealous about it.
Just a Guess. I think you need to ask him for the truth behind his outburst.

There are many answers to this question. First: you need to look at your 2 ages. If you are under 15 this may happen a lot. As you get older, people become more mature and aware of how the things they say and do affect people so much rather than what this boy did and said because you took what he said to heart and it hurt you. Maybe there are other details surrounding this incident that he heard from someone about something you did? Maybe he is trying to get your attention and say really mean things so that you will pay attention to him for some strange reason.

Cuz they really are from Mars.. it doesnt get any easier with age.
The problem is that woman (or girls for the younger ones) are naturally more complex. We assume because men (or boys) are human that they to will be just as complax and multi-dimensional but they arent. We make things more complicated than they really are. You'll learn not to over analyze anything when it comes to the opposite sex. Things are what they are with them.
Just ask him why he is mad at you. If he doesnt give you a sufficient answer then move on.

boys confusing? as if girls aren't???
boys are easy to figure out compared to girls...
btw, friends fight. it happens. people get sick of each other and their crap and decide to get it out of their system and they go back to being cool. my sister and i do that ALL the time... just vent and get over it.
in the meantime stop and consider that you might have actually done (or not done) something to make him angry. sometimes people do get angry at us for a reason and we're oblivious to it because we're more self absorbed than a wet paper towel.

Ask him why he thinks you are what he called you and take it from there. If he refuses to talk, let him simmer down for a few days, then try to talk to him again.

Our gender cannot think. We only feel, and pass our feelings off as facts because we know you girls think harder and faster than we ever could hope to manage. We go a long way by being absolutely ignorant and apparantly emotionless, though we are in fact the opposite. It's all show. Pleas treat us with respect. When we don't get respect, we tend to distroy bus shelters or Chelsea fans.

He wants you. He's pissed that you keep him in the "friend zone". He's tired of watching you date losers and hearing you complain that you can't find a good man, when in his mind that's him!

My guess is that he likes you and he is mad because he is jealous of you flirting with other boys.
