It's either have tough love or LOSE EVERYTHING!!

My sister is a crystal meth user and recently lost her daughter to our father! She claims to be clean...but at one time she weighed 150 lbs and now MIGHT weigh 80....I TRIED to love her through her tough times...and ya know...I'm tired of being the only one of us TRYING!!! She comes crying back to me...and I've now stopped taking her phone calls...She's in her mid 30's...my niece is almost 8 ~ and has seen my sister arrested etc...TOUGH love may be all she understands...Maybe if enough of the doors close...they'll admit they have a problem and seek professional help...I lost alot of sleep and tears worrying about whether she's dead or alive...Tough love ...is harder on the person TRYING to be tough...than on the actual person it's being used on....

I'm just dead tired of caring for her when she doesn't even care about herself!!

No. sometimes tough love can run the person right back to the dope. Unconditional love. It worked for me.
