How would you Grade his overall performance A+ to F

2006-09-07 12:32:00 · 25 answers · asked by TLJaguar 3 in Politics & Government Politics

(If you'd give him a D or F than either you obviously didn’t vote for him twice, or you’re not too bright for having voted for him a second time)

Wow, very clever and witty of you cdrfish. I’m in awe of your tolerance of diversity of thought.

I voted for him both times, though I can empathize with people who are shocked he was elected not once, but twice. That is how I felt about Clinton. I was horribly upset that this country could elect him...ESPECIALLY a second term.

I would give President Bush a B to B+.

Considering what happened on 9/11/2001, he lead this country through this tragic time with a firm and supportive tone. I can't think of who would have done any better.

He took on the terrorist where the originated from in Afghanistan.
I don't know who would have done better. And I truly feel that our government has prevented attacks because President Bush is at the helm.... THANK GOD for data mining.

He took down a ruthless tyrant, head of a family of rapist, torturers and murders. One of our proudest accomplishments since WWII, in my opinion. I can't think of who else would have taken that huge and historic step.

I think he has done wonders with an economy after a huge attack on our financial base. I can't think of anyone who would have done better.

I don't agree with everything he does....wish he would be harder on the mileage standards on vehicles (heck he could outlaw SUVs and I would be happy) and I don't like the idea of letting immigrants receive work visas from anywhere other than their country of origin.

Having said that, I think he is a man of good character, firm beliefs and that is far more respectable than someone who chase polls when he isn't chasing skirts. . . as did Bill.

I don't want "government through focus groups" and I don't want someone who can't put this country FIRST, over their wants and needs, just for their term in office. I think that lack of personal integrity is only as stupefying as the fact that many people just didn't care.

As for his second term, I didn't like Kerry BEFORE he was a candidate. I think he, and others like him, are largely responsible for the horrible way that the Viet Nam vets where treated upon their return. I'm not sure I would pass that man a life preserver if he needed one, let alone vote for him.

I thought President Bush was the one to lead us through the beginning of this war on terror and I am feeling more and more that the Republican party has a much better understanding of what is at stake with this fight against people who don't play by a rule book. We can't fight with one hand tied behind our backs and expect to win. I alse feel that we need to finish our fine goal of not only freeing Iraq from the claws of a madman, but leaving it a democracy and it's people free.

If Ronald Reagan is an A+, and Jimmy Carter is an F, George W. Bush would be a solid B - or a C. His lack of adressing the border issue while trying to claim fighting a war on terror is a bit absurd. Otherwise, he's done a better than average job - the net result is he's an average President. . .

I voted for Bush both times.
And if all the democrats can offer for President is others like John (I did before I didn't) Kerry and "I invented the Internet" Gore, you give me no other choice than to vote Republican again.
I considered Clinton, I laughed at Kerry and Gore. Find a Lieberman or someone like him and this Independent might vote Democrat.

I voted for him 2 times. I think he was better in his first term. He walked into a mess left by the Clinton Administration. example: If Clinton had taken care of bin laden when he had him in his hands and let him go, 9/11 would not have happened. This war probably would not be going on right now. It is just that Clinton chose to drop a bomb to slap them on the wrist because he was to afraid to do anything about it. Bush walked in to have to clean up the mess that was already being planned before he ever was elected. I rate his first term in office a B and his second a C

I would give him a strong solid B to A-. He has done somethings that I disagree with, but for the most part I think he and his administration have done a great job of protecting this country, and keeping our best interest at heart.
I know gas prices are high. But what does the president have to do with gas prices? Since when did it become his fault instead of the oil companies who raise those prices? If people are so upset about this than take it to the companies, stop driving cars, and get a bycicle.

I would have given him a solid A but I think he dropped the ball (along with Congress) on defense of our borders. So, I drop him a grade to a B.

History may record that the United States was destroyed from within - and it may already be too late to prevent it. The Aztlan group is outspokenly a terrorist group, met with Yasser Arafat in the 90s to learn the process of Jihad. It starts with moving a population into the targeted country...

i voted for him both times. i think he's done a good job considering the adversity he's faced. democrats, aka whiners, like to blame everything on him including gas prices. pretty stupid. he's not perfect but i give him a B. i think he should've been more aggressive w/ the war. eliminate the entire middle east and start over. yes, women and children too. they are the seeds that breed the hate.

I would give in a B+. He does not have the charisma of Regan, but he is not as wishy-washy as his father was. He may have not made good decisions 100% of the time, but he has principles and sticks to them.

In my opinion, all the Bush haters are really Regan haters that are just mad that he's dead and trashing him now just make most people realize how stupid they are.

I would rate his performance an F- so many people have died, as i have seen some families. Then, is george bush sends troops there, how come the politicians who planned out the war won't send their kids to the war? They are the ones who started it. Right.
