the problem is called moving day:Daniel is moving and needs to move his pets from one house 2 another. he has a cat a dog and a tank full of fish. he cant leave the dog with the cat because they will fight and if you leave the cat w\the fish it will eat them.how many trips myst he take to make sure that all of his reach new home safe? How can i solve this?

Daniel can take the cat first and leave it at the second house. Then he takes the dog and comes back with the cat. He can then take the fish and leave the cat, then come back for the cat right after.

2 trips.

1 with the dog and the fish and 1 with the cat.

Assuming you can't put the dog and cat in carriers so that they and the fish can remain separated and everyone go at once...

Two trips is the minimum. Take the cat in one trip and the dog plus the fish in the other.

Well take the cat first
then either the fish or the dog then
whichever one is left!

1.First the cat.
2.Then the fish, take the cat back.
3.Then the dog
4.Last the cat
