Can people with Anorexia hide their mental illness?They seem norm?

Yes, sadly they often do. Many people with anorexia cover their bodies with baggy clothes, and hide their behaviors. They may eat in front of friends, though it may be the only meal they have all day. Because we are a society in which being thin is sought after by so many, women suffering from anorexia are often praised for their weight loss. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE EMACIATED TO HAVE ANOREXIA! Someone who is 5'6" and 110lbs might be anorexic (if they are starving themselves to get to this weight and meet the other criteria).

So, you may know women struggling with this illness right now and not know that they have it.
