Jayelle, what do you mean, I'm not offering up anything to be proud of at the moment? Honestly, who would you feel safer being around -- a white woman, or a black one? I am proud of who I am, and I don't understand why people are ashamed of being white and would rather imitate and be around black people. It's stupid.

coz most of the younger generation don't have role models to aspire and look up to. Lots of ordinary white kids got a really dismal future to look forward to.
For example, they can't go to a Ivy League School because Certain ones have queers among their faculty. When they can't get the trendy clothes that the media says its essential to have the cool looks for the next four weeks,... they throw fits and tantrums until their parents give in.
Then there are the white folks that are really poor and really don't have much of a heritage, because its the wealthy white man that even oppresses the poor white man. So their children don't have a whole lotta respect even for their own parents who do work so hard to give them a place to sleep and food to eat. Instead they idolize the sub-culture seen in the media as gangstas being cool, so they are really the ultimate Wannabes of all.
Instead of looking for their heriatge, they've abandoned the old and look to the new to emulate it and adopt it as their own.
Its the way the Hip-Hop sub-culture has been evolving, and Spike Lee was right, about ignorance being championed over wisdom and sensibility.
Its really sad isn't it.

You have to understand that the white youth of today have been dummied down by the medida to think that it is cool.Mtv is a prime example of that.They promote multiculturalism and brainwash white women into thinking it is a good thing to have sex with people other than white.So why would you ask this question if you already know the answer?

You should know that there's a huge difference between acting hip-hop and acting black. A fifty-something black professional who loves jazz and Motown isn't going to act like that, either.

Think about it.
When you talk about white culture, aren't you talking about European culture?
Irish, Scottish, British, Swedish, French, German, Israeli...
These are examples of white culture, correct?
This is where the true roots of modern American "culture" resides...in Europe.
Is that what is being taught in your schools?

Some people think it makes them "cool" and "in". If they only knew that they look really, really stupid they might stop. Why would even blacks or anyone else for that matter want to act that way. It makes no sense.

Why do some white girls only date black guys and pretend they are not racist. Act like who you are and accept others for who they are, that is the way to go.
Some girl tried to punch me in a bar because I asked her why she was talking ebonics when she was this chubby white girl married to this little white guy that weighed about 90 pounds.
He did a great job of wrestling her out of the bar.. I pretended I did not know what she was acting so goofy.. she jumped up and said.. I am a goin to kick you white mo fo ***.... and I just acted like I had no idea what set her off...
I think half of them do it like we grew long hair.. just because it was against the norm, but can't they find someway better to express rebellion than acting like a fool...
Black people don't like them, white people don't like them and they think they are the coolest poop on the planet..
