Sorry to answer your question with a question but.. How do you define life.?
In terms of one self-replicating assemblage of amino acids which is carbon based the answer to it would be easier than to ask where does anything but absolute nothingness come from?
At this point both standard philosophy and the most advanced science comes up blank. Having stated this , anything having being from this realm relative to our "ordinary" experience is so spectacular and paranormal that it would be by default God, such as the God of our Judeo/Christian heritage. The one described as the Alpha and Omega. That's my answer.

i just learned about this & still am,but i think i might be learning som thing else but anyway....inside a cell is a nuecleus that reprodues cells & controls the cell. i hope this helps
