i graphed it on a calculator and got (- infinity, infinity) but i'm really not sure if that's right because the parabola goes up. helpp!!

sqrt(x^2 - 7x - 8) >= 0
x^2 - 7x - 8 >= 0
(x - 8)(x + 1) >= 0

Domain
x <= -1
or
x >= 8

if the parabola goes up, then the parabola travels along the x axis in both directions into infinity, so -infinity to infinity is correct.

The Domain is all real numbers because there are no restrictions on the x value, such as x being under a square root, or x being in a denominator

Yes, the parabola should go up. That means that the range is limited. The parabola, theoretically, would keep going on indefinitely in each direction.
