I am curious, have there ever been any hurricanes hit any of the western coast of USA, Alaska, Hawaii, New England, Northeast, Canada, or even Greenland, Iceland, or Europe?

Any interesting websites on this subject?

No hurricanes have ever hit Alaska. You can check the rest yourself using the "Query Storm Tracks" feature at the following NOAA website

http://maps.csc.noaa.gov/hurricanes/

You can even find out by zip code, county or city. Very cool site.

Hawaii occasionally gets hurricanes, the Northeast gets a storm every year, Iceland is too far north to get a storm, so is Alaska and Greenland, and California can only get a hurricane or a tropical storm in el nino years.

I've heard that England had a few hurricanes. And Texas had 'em too. That's as much as I know.
