It is a murder story set in 18/19 century France. I don't reacall any sexual stuff in the book, which is well worth the read, by Peter Suskind, I think that was the authors name.

The film is still being made. It then has to go into postproduction so I'll expect it out sometime next summer. Depending on how much they need to to in post-production ofcourse.
