I think Australia lost a great ambassador for wildlife. He was a great role model...and brought wildlife conservation to the conscience of millions. His family will continue his work and His influence will continue for generations. Good on ya Steve !!! RiP from Sydney Australia

I can't sleep good at night. I didn't know him personally but he seemed to have a beautiful spirit. It is a great loss because he was such a funny guy... despite me calling him an idiot every once in a while when he was alive. He will really be missed.

I was very distressed and saddened to hear about his death. I loved his show. Most of all I loved his zest for animal conservation, and his love for his family. He will be greatly missed. He was a great man! He had such a beautiful spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

It made me say, "Man, that sucks, Steve was the man!" Other than that, I can't say that it had much of an impact.

Now, I can add one more thing to the list of effects.

His death made me write, "It made me say, "Man, that sucks, Steve was the man!" Other than that, I can't say that it had much of an impact. Now I, can add one more thing to the list of effects."

Its an neverending cycle. I could continue out of sheer stupidity but I think you've probably had quite enough out o' me so far. PEACE! STEVE LIVES!

None; I wasn't there and I was not injured.
I do feel for his family, an dwish terry and kids the best of luck,
I liked the guy but hos family is safer. Putting himself in danger is one thing but putting them in danger was something he should never have done.

I"m sad and worried for his family. I find it ironic that he died from a sting ray, rather than an crocodile. Really bizarre....

It's made me more careful about sting rays. I'm not sure this will make much difference in my life though, since I live in Kansas.
