I am. I was hoping for another Federer-Nadal showdown. The tournament has definitely lost some potential drama now that Rafa's gone.

nicely it became absolute to ensue finally - he had gained about 40 video games at wimbledon with out loss. And sixty 5 on grass ! I although Nadal became very gracious in victory the most acceptable very last I fairly have considered in a lengthy lengthy time period - McEnroe v borg 30 years in the past became distinctly solid. although a thoroughly diverse recreation then. i'd say Nadal performed extra appropriate especialy in instruments a million & 2 - although in instruments 3 & 4 at the same time as it quite mattered Federer all of unexpected discovered images that quite counted.

I was totally greiving, but Youzhny did play a really good match and Nadal just wasn't up at his usual level, but we love him anyways. Can't wait to watch him at the Australian since he missed Aussie Open 06

I am not. Youzny played extremely well and did you see that shot youzhny gave lying on one hand and hitting it. Plus i'm sick of seeing Nadal playing against federer in finals so this time it's gonna be different.

I'm not sad because if Nadal lost, that means Roddick will have an easier way to the final.

i grieved a bit for rafa, too, but mikhail played magnificent tennis and he totally deserved to win. this isn't exactly rafa's best surface. still, his style of play provides the best counterpoint for federer's game, so i'll miss seeing that this year. there are still great match-ups in the semis and the game bet. roddick and youzhny (unseeded!!!) should be quite interesting. i'm madly excited about the new guys crashing into the big league this year....youzhny, becker, gasquet, murray, yankovic, et.al. and that donald young guy, can't wait to see him in the slams....i think the future of the game is assured and what great prospect, huh?

I'm really sad. I spent my whole summer just for the Nadal-Federer showdown. Now this Russian guy just comes out of nowhere, beats Nadal and ruined the whole fun to watch part of tennis.

No not really. I would rather see him in it than Federer. Fed is just cocky. Nadal is pretty good. I love Roddick and Blake I would really love for them to be against each other. :)
But i want Roddick to win. mm.

I'm not. I like surprises. And after all, Youzhny deserved it. Didn't he? Nadal is such a big talent, and he will have many victories in the future, so why grieve because of one loss?
