Steve was a great and passionate man that did much for a long misunderstood and often hated species, the crocodile. What really upsets me, is that the media has already begun spreading rumors that Steve exploited animals. What's up people? The man isn't even cold in the ground. He was as much, if not more of an advocate for animals than any tree hugger out there. People need to realize this and celebrate the awareness and goodness that he brought to the world and stop attempting to smear his name and his mission. With that said, I am truely saddened by his death and the loss suffered by his family, as well as the world.

yes there are many people upset that Steve Irwin died,it's just that everyone shows their emotions in different ways.Steve Irwin spent most of his life teaching other people about the beauty of nature, and that all creatures are wonderful, and how all animals have a beautiful side.he taught people so much, and made alot of people conquer theirs fears when it comes to animals like snakes. He truly was an amazing man,and may his legacy live on inside every single one of us that was touched by him.

You are NOT alone! There has been sooooooo much media coverage on this, U would think a President or a Super rock star had been killed.

Millions of people are grieving over his death, including me. I was absolutely shocked, and have been crying when I think of the loss to the world and to his family and friends.

His efforts will live on thru several venues, such as Wildlife Warriors wildlifewarriors.org.au , the Australia Zoo, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, AND thru his children!

We love U Stevo!!

Jessica-you are far from alone on this one. My 8 & 9 yr olds watch him constantly on Animal Planet and have been big fans of his for almost 4 yrs now. Both are DEVESTATED at his death as he was only 44-same age as my husband-their father who we lost unexpectedly to sudden cardiac arrest a year ago. We feel a deep loss here at our house and I feel like I am also reliving my husbands-this has actually set my two little ones back some and I keep his wife Terri, and Bindy and Bob in our prayers each night now. I keep reminding myself that the Good die young! Take care and pray for his family. We are still shedding tears here in Florida for him and his family.

specific, i became into bowled over and upset as quickly as I became on the television this morning. nicely, can no longer say i became into "bowled over", because of the fact what he did became right into a detrimental profession for obvious motives, in spite of the undeniable fact that it continues to be very unhappy. He had a great heart and character. He enjoyed his relatives, that's for specific. And he enjoyed coaching human beings approximately animals and flora and fauna communication. RIP, Steve

Crikey ! I've been crying for days . .
Steve Irwin personified the love of animals and respect for the planet & the awesome life on it..... He really got it, how miraculous each lifeform is.....
I thought I loved animals until I saw him & he put me to shame & he taught me how to love again...
He got married in my church to Terri Raines who was already a wildlife celebrity in Eugene & Oregon....
If you haven't seen the show on how they met & fell in love, WOW! it's incredible....

God, I hope we can each of us have a little of that love & energy that he left behind....today I already rescued 2 animals...
He inspired & inspires me to rescue more animals & love more people.....
it's never too late to learn to love & respect all the incredible living creatures around us...who benefit us in countless ways...
you can't believe some of the things . . .
just like his life, his death is unbelievable...
I know, I'll see him again.....
