Sorry, but those answers aren't correct.

I have the answer, but I can't figure out the steps to get there.

the Slope is 5. and the intercepts are (0, -1) and (1/5, 0)

Remember that g(x) is the same as y. If you replace g(x) with y you probably will recognize that the equation is in slope-intercept form.

y = 54x - 1
Therefore the slope is 54 and the y-intercept is -1. To get the x-intercept you must let y = 0 and solve for x. Try that and you should get x-intercept = 1/54

Remember this important fact. All the points on the x-axis are written (some number, 0) and that is why y = 0 when you are trying to get the x-intercept. Also, all points on the y-axis are written (0, some number). So, you can let x = 0 when you are trying to get the y-intercept.

it's in slope intercept form (y=mx-b)

m=slope
b= y-intercept

m=54 which is the slope
b= -1 which is the y-intercept
