I wanna buy something on http://newegg.com, but I dunno it is a trusted site or not. Does anybody hear about it?

Joleen has a good point. Also, a lot of sites use companies like verisign and many others to help with their security. If so they usually say that they use that company somewhere on their site. Sometimes those symbols get used at sites that don't use that service. You can always go to that company's site and check to see if they actually do provide online security services for that online retailer. I've used newegg before and they're a secure site so far.

I even just reviewed their privacy policy and it's solid.

I a customer of newegg.com. when you try to sing in, you will see a little yellow lock on your top right corner. that's enough information to know that is good.

i've bought stuff from that site. pretty good deals on there. if you're gonna get a rebate, read the details and the fine print as they are very picky on rebates

if its says http:// at the top it is not secure, if it says https://, it is secure. that "s" stands for "secure".
