I registered a domain with www.sitelutions.com. NOw I am trying to put stuff on the webpage. Do I need some type of software like Microsoft FrontPage? Or does sitelutions.com give me the tools to do the modifications to the page?

I don't know what package you have now.
Well, let's get to the point.
If you only own the domain yourname.com and no web hosting space is rented, it means you have to use the domain as a url forwarding to other free web hosting service.
But, if you have the web space also, then you have to worry about tools.
Many good hosting sites provide all necessary tools and tutorials but some sell only space and offer nothing.
I know sitelutions provides you the webtemplates with additional cost that's very bad.
See what they say "Sitelutions Templates provide an extremely easy way for anyone with basic knowledge of the Web to create professional looking sites at a very reasonable price."
Now, you are in more problem what about purchasing a $49 templates.
Well, still there are some cools ways to find some cool templates and content. Think of interspire.com almost 100 free templates ease your creativity.
Just, select one and add contents you want to, publish it and go see.
Ok now about the tools.
Publishing on the web is easy and done in two different ways.
1 - http publishing 2- ftp publishing
1 - simple and easy to upload as webhosting service provides it
in the control panel or upload section.
2 - everything will be uploaded manually for advanced users.
you need to open your domain in ftp mode as directed by the
sitelutions. ftp://yourname.com serves as a normal harddrive,
you can copy and paste the content and pages. you can
create directories like you do in the "my computer".
Frontpage or dreamweaver or coffecup html editor.
I suggest as a biginner you first learn some basics of html and java, just an overview to understand.
You try to work in the coffeecup html editor as it is very easy and simple. Frontpage is outdated but also good for beginners as it is a good html software. but some web servers do not allow frontpage extensions to run.
Dreamweaver is a quality software for advanced users because it contains lots of tools for webmaster such as asp, jsp, php dhtml and shtml coding.
I think sitelutions only give you the basic tools eg upload, ftp access, control panel and etc.

Depends, is site solutions your HOST, or just the domain providor>?
My question is do you have the stuff u want to put up, or did u just pay 9 dollars to get a domain and have no idea what to do?
MS front page is made to make web sites, but so can word be used and of course we cant forget the old HTML .

No it doesn't look like they do. You do need something like FrontPage. You can design a page fairly easily and then from there add it to the web.

check with the sites support.
If you already ahve the webpage then u may just need to FTP it to a particular location on the server allocated to your domain.
to design the website then you may need some tools liek frontpage.

you need to know HTML codes you cant just put stuff on a page there codes you need to learn
