Can a person be allergic to their own pee. When I pee I start to itch. And no I don't have crabs. It is just around the hair that I itch. What else could it be?

It is just in my hair line and it doesn't seem to be coming from inside like a yeast infection.

I've even tried changing my detergent.

No your not allergic to your own urine. The itch is probably caused by an rash that is irritated by a chemical in the urine. See a urologist to make sure.

no one is allergic to their own pee. you might have a yeast infection. when you wipe, you might want to wet the toilet paper first.

I have the same problem. An itch around the hair line not on or in my vagina. No bumps or rash. I get it every two to three years. VERY irritating. Nothing seems to help it. I use an anti-itch cream but it is still there. I just try not to itch it. But would really like an explanation.

You may have a problem with your detergent.....you can't be allergic to yourself.
