Yes, I saw it, and it was very well done, but coming so soon after the fact? Our nation is still in grieving. I could see maybe 10 or 15 years, but only 5?

It was intense. I cried through the whole thing.

During WW 2, movies were cranked out of Hollywood monthly about the war... More people suffered and died during that conflict. Pearl Harbor was an awful event, and the first time the USA was attacked on OUR soil (9/11 was the second). Movies were cranked out regularly about this event.

The question should be, is the USA a wimpier nation, are we weaker than our parents and grandparents were when it comes to coping with a national tragedy?

I think movies should come out about 9/11, and tv shows, and interviews with the victims until people realize this is not a "dress rehearsal", these people are trying to kill us. And no amount of covering our eyes with a blanket will do any good for the nation except to make us spineless and weak minded.

Wake up people, they're trying to kill Americans.

Stand up to the aggression, know who the enemy is, and never forget September 11, 2001.

The only reason the movie seems soon is because of the activity and popularity or the War in Iraq (the popularity of the topic not the war). Any insensitivity given to the 9/11 situation does not come from the suddeness of the appearance of the movies, but what the movie focuses on itself instead. The patriotism was lacking, making it a commonplace human drama, rather than a recount, for the same situation would happen in any poor scenario.

Are you talking about World Trade Center? I think it was done pretty soon... it was still very very good, but when you think about it, the only way Americans want to be educated is through TV. The average American isn't going to sit down and read a book about 9/11. So when you contemplate this, don't you think that there are some pros to having it done so early?
