I suspect that you mean "crust". No one knows what elements (exactly) are in the core, but it's primarily iron and nickel (since it generates the planet's magnetic field).

The core is believed to be an iron nickel sulfide. This is based on gravity and mass calculations, along with meteorite studies. Nobody knows for sure what the most common elements in the Earth's core are, since we would have to destroy the Earth to find out and the Department of Homeland Security would lock you up if you tried to do that. Can you spell Gitmo?

The earth has three layers:
1st layer: The crust it is made of light elements, such as basalt,granite, etc..
2nd layer: Molten Magma
3rd layer: Solid Fe
