maybe we can bless ourselves for having to be in their presence.

I'm not really sure, but most of my friends are atheists & everytime they sneeze, it's a reaction for me to say "GOD bless you"...if it bothered them, I know they would've said something to me, but instead they respond with a "thank you"...so, I think it may depend on the person.

I'm atheist, and I hate it when people bless me when I sneeze! I think we should all say "excuse me" when we sneeze.

I always have. When they do I say God Bless you! Thank you Jesus.
They just look at me and I walk away....Well I figure it's a bless and run. Kinda like a hit. You know...

I don't know about atheists, but agnostic snot is a blessing in itself so I wouldn't expect you to duck or anything...

i never really thought of that, but no one really thinks of that usually...it's just a common courtesy to bless ppl when they sneeze
