Was the 16th amendment ratified differently then any other law ?

I heard it wasn't properly ratified and so shouldn't be enforced .

I also heard that the tax income is illegal and a lot of former IRS agents have gone public stating there is no law to pay taxes.

I've heard that too but just can't seem to find time to research it' although, I really hope to soon.

I heard the same thing one day listening to Alex Jones on the radio. He had a guest who was an ex-IRS agent and he swore income tax was illegal.
