BEFORE THE EXPRESSWAYS WERE CONSTRUCTED...WAS IT 75 MPH IN PENNSYLVANIA ALSO?

I don't believe it was that high in '58. If you are talking about rte. 95, it was probably only 55. That was much the standard speed back then, as was most of the country. I don't even think the cars then could go as fast as you said. lol.
