I would give it back, honesty pays off better than cheating.. It would be dishonest if I would keep it and that is wrong...even if the cashier did make a mistake, everyone makes mistakes now and then no matter how good a person is...

I would give it back. Keeping it would be the same as stealing something when you knew the cashier wasn't looking. The same if someone's wallet fell out of their pocket when they were walking ahead of me. It's just the right thing to do.

I would tell her and return it because many years ago I was a cashier and at the end of the night, if my drawer did not balance, that was bad for me. I would not want that to happen to the cashier. Besides, it really is stealing.

My honor is worth more than that.but my dau found someone had left a box of laundry soap in the cart in the parking lot of the store and we did take that because we could tell the purchaser had left the lot and could not be found to give it to.

I would say something. And make sure to give it back. It would be the right thing to do. It would bother me too much to keep it. I would be up all night if I did.

If I noticed the mistake while I was in the store, I would give it back. But if I didn't notice until later and I wasn't at the store anymore, I would just keep it.

That depends on the situation. I would if I realized it right away. I would not go back to the store if I had left without realizing the mistake.
