As awesome as the iPod is, it gets boring after a long car ride. I took a road trip from Austin, TX to San Diego, CA and had to shut off the iPod. Instead, I turned on my Sirius because it has a lot of different types of music, news radio, comedy, etc. When you're driving, Sirius wins hands down. You mine as well say XM as well since they merged.

I would say Sirius but it depends what programing you want. I chose Sirius because they have English Premier League coverage and a couple of BBC stations. So you need to decide what you want to listen to, then make your decision. Each company has their channel line up on line. Both have lots of Ad free music. Sirius also has a listen on line feature for all its subscribers too, which is nice.
