do their job and pass a decent immigration bill? Why are our local taxes funding their inability to do their jobs?

Congress is too busy playing politics and money that should go to cops, firefighters, teachers, roads...etc is being diverted to a problem created by the federal government, thus it should come out of their budget.

ha, no. can you imagine the amount of money and bureaucracy it would take for DC to go through all those bills? great idea though. instead why don't we send the bills to the congress and have them pay the bills out of their own pockets? i bet you would see some action then.

I think the US Government should contract with MS13 to collect a Work Tax from all the HomePepot street corner workers.

As it is MS13 is shaking down illegals and sending $200 million a year back to El Salvador.

GHW Bush helped found MS13 back in the Raygun days. He could be the Tax ambassador.

We could use that money to help support out troops.

You mean send the government the bill for all the free healthcare that illegals receive? I guess it is a problem when so many emergency rooms have had to shut down in border states.

No, because segregation is a thing of the past. America is supposed to be the Land of the Free. Welcome to it. That would be unconstitutional. Our local taxes do much more than fund illegals. It's not just up to congress to pass that bill, it's up to the voters.

The reason they can't hash out a bill is because there's too many different positions the politicians are taking.
1. Send just about every illegal home.
2. Leave the people with kids
3. Leave everyone who's been here for so long.

There's just too many people who want too many different things. I personally think we should send every one of their illegal asses home - if they have a kid, the kid goes with them.

Of course if we stopped giving them jobs and gov't benefits they'd stop coming.

It is ironic. With the money going to fight Afghanistan and Iraq (300 billion plus, who knows how much) we could secure our borders. Iraq provided no imminent threat. Our unguarded southern border provides a real and present danger. But there is no money for Halliburton or its subsidaries in securing the border.

Sounds like a good start. Then they might get the message and build the wall then deport, deport, deport. Better live it up illegals, your days are numbered.

What about the reduced cost of hiring illegals, does that factor in?
