They were an independent band until Sony picked them up for good reasons i think. At first i thought they were too simple and werent that good but after awhile i couldnt stop listening to moon and antartica and then i looked up their earlier stuff. I think they have some really good riffs and lyrics and they arent punk which is good. Im a big classic rock fan.

Yes, I have heard of them. I like them a lot.The Moon and Antartica is what got me hooked too.

"This Is A Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think About" is their best album in my opinion. I dig the rest of their stuff too. Very odd and profound. Some lyrics get testy to my faith but i dont take it too personally. Good group though.

Oh, yeah they're great, I saw them on Austin City Limits and thought they were just the best. That reminds me to go to the Austin City Limits website and see about getting a copy of that performance.

Yep I have heard of them...we used to listen to them while we were setting up for a party then we would bring on Franz and The Darkness. Yeah Baby!! My sister's husband didn't want to buy their cd cause it was PINK!!! P****Y
