I liked that advert. You're reading too much into it. It's been a while since that event, and I'm sure most advertising campaigns would be vaguely reminicent of some tragedy if you think hard enough.

You said yourself that it's computer graphics - there's no similarity between the ad and the events of 9/11, which were real, or if you like in 3D and full colour. Should I complain to the ASA about the ad showing a cat eating some 'luxury' cat food when my cat died a couple of months ago? Don't take life so seriously!

you're reading waaaaay too far between the line.
9/11 happened. there's no point in trying to ignore it and hope it goes away. next you'll be asking every advert that shows a skyscraper or a plane or fire etc etc to be banned.
terrorism happened, it WILL happen again, and people will be murdered by these pigs. but you cant go trying to cover up anything that reminds you of it.

i do not quite watch classified ads. With each and each and every of the music channels et al on NTL, I continuously bypass flicking for a song i like so sure, I fairly have a gripe with classified ads, really throughout an F1 race. there is in basic terms no want for them!

Uum, yeah, it's just you dude.
I've got a tip, when the ads come on, stick it on mute and read a mag for a few minutes, or channel hop. Why sit there and be advertised to.

It may well just be you.
I like the music for that ad!
Also, note the lack of planes, explosions or dying people.
Also, note the message of peace and togetherness.
Also, note the hidden message: Dont eat at McDonalds

I find Verizon more disturbing. I mean how many years does that Verizon moron guy who wears glasses trying to get connection by saying, "Can you hear me now?" Doesn't that mean Verizon is still trying to find signal after all these years?
