Nope, tax was never meant to be fair, so why would they start being it now?
It is all about keeping the middle class struggling but hopping!

Not the flat tax, the Fair tax. It's different from the flat tax.
Info on it can be found here http://fairtax.org/
I hope it will happen, but I am concerned that too many people are too afraid of change to take a chance on it.

Do you mean the flat tax? I wish it would, but it's doubtful.
ADDED --- The only fair tax would be a FLAT tax -- everyone pays the same percentage. No loopholes. No crazy books with impossible instructions. Same "easy" filing proposed by "fair" tax. I say - Abolish tax brackets and let everyone pay the same SMALL percentage.

Not until we can effectively educate people (especially the poor) that it would ultimately be in everyone's best interest. Unfortunately, class warfare politics works well and the democrats will always cry "tax cuts for the rich!" whenever someone tries to make the system more fair.

I don't think a tax that EVERYONE feels is fair will happen. That would mean we all agree on what is fair.

The flat tax? How could democrats support that? It doesn't do enough to redistribute the wealth.

Well have you had taxation in college? That should give you the idea.
We are a society and as such we help each other out indirectly.
