You need to get him evaluated at once. He might have a learning disability or have anger management issues. Why has it taken a year of missing school for you to give this the attention it needs? This issue is far more serious then you can handle. Something is going on with your child. There are a couple of thing that might be going on
**** Stress at home ( divorce, multiple men in his life, abuse of some sort)
*** Learning disablity not discovered
**** Anger mangement
**** Bi Polor
**** Depression
Get him evaluated at once don't wait a minute longer.

The answers of counseling is funny because that is EXACTLY the reason the world is screwed up. There is way to much begging kids to do what the parents want them to do, or even funnier......bribing them with fun and games. I mean kids are so stupid these days on the level of they are controlling parents no matter if they are 3 or 13, 7 or 17. WHO THE HELL IS THE BOSS??? beat his AS$, and ground him before he does something that will cost you court costs, your house, thousands of dollars, or ALL of the above.

You need to get him into counseling ASAP. A 12 year old has to go to school or you as the parent can get in trouble. Maybe something is wrong at school, bullying or some other problem.

He is out of control and needs help. Talk to your pediatrician and get help. He may need to be put into a live in treatment center for a while to get him back on track.
How did he miss one year of school and no one came to inquire. This should not have gone on so long.

I agree, take him to a psychologist. Maybe talk to a school psychologist or guidance counselor first. It sounds like this is way beyond what you can handle and your son needs professional help.

BOOT CAMP!!! You are the parents, and if you are not making him go to school YOU can end up paying fines and going to jail! This happened to a friend of mine. The only reason she avoided jail time was because she is disabled.

Send him for counselling...he may have an underlying problem making him an angry child...you may want to get him there quickly because such an ugly attitude could turn him into a criminal

Send him to a boot camp. Because he needs some kind of discipline. Right now if you can not handle him. it would be very hard for you to do so.
