It is very unlikely, but possible. Only her doctor will be able to answer your question. They can tell by doing an ultrasound.

Yes it could be a tubal pregnancy. It is very rare to get pregnant after having your tubes tied but it happens. Something is definitely wrong and if that doctor will not help found out then she needs to go to a different doctor.

It definitely sounds like a possibility. Tubal ligation is highly effective, but like any other method of birth control it's less than 100% and any pregnancy following a tubal poses an increased risk of being ectopic. If the pain is increasing, she should probably go to urgent care with her concerns; an ectopic pregnancy is not something to take lightly.

Why didn't the doctor do a blood test and ultra sound. It takes longer for urine tests to pick up the HCG hormone if it is a tubal pregnancy. Tell her to find a new, more competent doctor before she ends up dying!

I have heard about tubal pregnancies, but they ae very rare. But she should ask her doc for an ultrasound, to verify it. Because the symptoms sound about right.

if her tubes were tied incorrectly and she did get pregnant..The baby would be stuck in the fallopian tubes, and eventually turn into a rock and rupture her tubes..baby dies and your sister bleeds internally and dies..So im sure her doctor will find out what is really going on
