John Locke. I think in any other show the way Locke is portrayed, he'd be a villain. Yet in Lost, he's very likable and has bailed out the other castaways on many occaisions.
A close second is Sawyer. His transformation from jerk to a sort of noble yet rogueish hero was a lot of fun to watch. Josh Holloway is a great actor!

It's definitely Locke. There's always a fine line with him and you sometimes wonder if he will actually go too far and turn into a nutter. But at the same time, with his background, you have a lot of sympathy for his character. I like that internal good vs evil in characters but in season 2 I thought Jack's open animosity seemed a bit heavy considering what little had happened between them.
Locke rocks!

I have three
1.) Charlie - he's so sweet and has finally isnt a junkee anymore. the only way he could get off of drugs was the help from Locke and the Island. Plus, he's also a rock star!!! ;)
2.) Locke - he is the only one who really knows whats going on. he also helped Charlie get rid of his bad addiction.
3.) Hurley - Of all the bad things that happen to him or other people, he also tries to have a good time (i wish i could be more like that). He has a very positive attititude.

Damn, I didn't realise there were so many Locke fans out there! I don't particularly like him. He's too weird, hasn't the leadership qualities of Jack yet tries to compete with him, and he's willing to let other people die (even if it was only Boone who was a clown) for random reasons?
My favourite has to be Sayid, he doesn't get the spotlight but has to be the most capable guy there. And for the fact he tortured Sawyer and beat s*it out of Henry Gale!

I have got to say that I love Jin. He has developed so much. He has gone from not speaking english to understanding & being able to speak some. He has become a goo dhusband. He is back to his roots & he so good looking.

Mine would have to be Locke. He's just such a good character and has obvious character flaws that u just have to love him. My girlfriend hates Locke somehow but loves Jack...

well I'm in love with Matthew Fox, he's perfect but Hurley is my favorite character because he's so nice and the show is pretty much revolved around him.

I really love Sawyer (and my reasons are as shallow as a child's paddling pool) because he is super fit, I like Sun and I did like Ana-Lucia.
Bernard and Rose's storylines always make me cry! Sob!

Locke for his open-mindedness, intuition and determination and for being one of the good guys (well so far anyway)
