These TV programs are popular in th U.S. Some of us share the same values when it comes to TV viewing. I can't stand reality programs, soaps, quiz shows, wrestling or ultimate fighting, anything with canned laughter.

Um.

I was going to say NOT ME

I hate those programmes, sorry.

I know a lot of people do watch them but I find them far too cosy.

Don't watch much TV but if I do, like it to have an edge.

Here in Ireland I watch Law & Order and SVU regularly also Criminal Intent and I think they are excellent. Shield I have seen the odd time, not enough to give an opinion. House I have watched a full programme once, it looks as if it could be good. Been a while since i watched Poirot (fair) and Midsomer Murders (excellent).

I prefer reading Agatha Christie books than watching the TV adaptations. They can never get it right, especially the last 4 ones were awful (Mystery on the Blue Train, Cards on the Table, Taken at the Flood and After the Funeral). I'm a big fan of House. I've not seen Midsomer Murders for long- it drags way too much. I don't know the rest.

You're right about reality shows and soaps.

I'm not in the UK
(sorry)
so maybe I shouldn't be answering your question

but I love to watch Poirot and all of the Law & Orders I can get my eyes on!

I totally agree with you on the canned laughter. That annoys the hell out of me!

I like to watch Midsommer Murders, but because it's on for two hours I don't always see it in its entirety. Poirot I watch occasionally on Sky. Where were these programmes when I was on holiday in the USA? I was disappointed with the quality of tv programmes.

Poirot and House have to be the best programmes around, especially House, I love his sarcasm and every case is something unusual.
We can't get enough of it, waiting for the next series.

I likely am no longer qualified to respond to this question in view that I fairly have in no way considered an finished episode of CI. although, at the same time as i tried to demonstrate screen an episode of CI it bored me, that's likely why I in no way were given to the end. I fairly have considered many SVU episodes and maximum are very solid. they decision from being very solid to purely quite solid reckoning on the ever replacing solid. see you later as Olivia and Elliot are there although, its in many cases going to be between the further appropriate episodes.

I'm in the UK and have watched most of them at least once. 'House' has to be my favourite though by far, and the only one I watch fairly regularly.
