You should be OK but are in danger of having the egg seeded in your tubes and it could be nasty. Best use protection or the pill to keep your health. If he doesn't like it, change your man

Some people say that it doesn't matter when you have sex there's always a possibility you can get pregnant. But there is a certain time of the month when the egg is released and the sperm must fertilise it. This usually happens about day fourteen of your cycle. Most people don't know how the cycle works. The first day that you start your period is always day one of your cycle. If you count fourteen days you will know when you ovulate which is when you are fertile and if you don't want to get pregnant then you know not to have sex day 13,14,15 and 16.

Sperm can, in ideal conditions, live in a woman's body for anywhere between 7 to 10 days; some researchers say longer, so there is a chance that sperm could still be present in your body when you next release an egg.

As someone or two has mentioned, you have also put yourself at risk of catching a sexually transmitted infection. If you don't know about STIs and you are under 18 then call Sexwise on 0800 28 29 30 and they will give you some details.

If you don't want to speak to anyone then try the website http://www.ruthinking.co.uk/

Most STIs have an incubation period of between 2 to 10 days, however, Chlamydia in most cases shows no signs or symptoms.

Get yourself a test at your local GUM clinic (or GPs)

Roughly or tenderly doesnt really mean a thing. After your period you are most fertile , or so they say. There was a way of women who wanted to get pregnant that used old wives tales such as the first 5 days after your period and all week through ovulation. Your timing would impecable if you were trying to get pregnant! Sorry to say it like that but chances are very high for you in my oppinion.

Hi Dooralarm. You are at risk of becoming pregnant everytime you have unprotected sex. It does not matter if it's before, during or after your menstrual cycle. The highest risk is 8-14 days after your period however this is not a hard and fast rule. If you are concerned at all you need to see your GP or family planning clinic who will treat you in total confidence. The sooner you go the easier it will be to resolve things. Hope it all goes OK.

How long is a piece of string?

There is a risk and it is higher than if you used a condom. As others have said, not everyone ovulates on day 14 and that means you can get pregnant at any time of your cycle.

Get the morning after pill if it was within 72 hours. Do not just leave it becaues there is a real chance that you could be pregnant.

I really hope your not, good luck and try not to worry too much, we all make mistakes. x

......Whether you had unprotected sex 2 days or 15 days before the end of your period, the odds don't really change. In as much as Mr. Sperm and Mrs. Egg may not see eye 2 eye. Best thing to do, protect yourselves at all times.. I know this isn't always possible to do, heat of the moment etc.... But think about unwanted children just before penetration and that may go some way to stopping you tempting fate. Good luck

It depends on when you ovulate. Ovulation last for four days. These are the four days out of the month that you can get pregnant. Depending on the woman, ovulation starts anywhere from 5-7 days after your period is over. Male sperm has a life cycle of 4-7 days. Yes, that means sperm that entered you can impregnate you for up to 7 days. If you started ovulating 6 days after your period and his sperm only lived for four days, you are clear. If you ovulate any earlier than that or, his sperm lives any longer than that, you are in the danger zone.
Good Luck, and God Bless.

Not very high, but you may have gotten a STD if you didn't use a condom.
You could go and get the morning after pill if your still in the time frame. Or get a coil fitted by your gp, that is if you dont want to be pregnant.
Next time make sure your man has a condom on.

Well, since it is pretty hard to tell when you're ovulating, no one really can't tell you what the exact risk is. A woman can ovulate at any point in her cycle. Because you had sex 2 days after your period, I would think your chances are slightly lower, but it really depends. I would still say you have a medium to high chance of becoming pregnant. I really...really hope things go okay.

Mistake My A*S*S you oviously are too imature and dumb to have unprotected sex and not know weather or not you will get pregnant. If you know there is a risk or a slight change there are such things called condoms or birth control pills that MOM can get 4 U. Use them............

Depends if you are ovulating or not. Some women are regular, others arent.

I ovulate about 6 days after my period ends, my mate doesnt ovulate until about 3 days before her period. Everyone is different.

If you are worried, all you can do is wait and see if your next period is late and take a test.

If you get your period, breathe a big sigh of relief, and use some protection next time!!!
