Because as a woman most men believe that you should do work that's supposedly made for a women. Some men find it intimidating when a woman can do work that mainly men do. I believe it's a man thing.

For one I am surprised that men dont admire you for it!!!!! Not alot of women can do what you do. I used to work on my car all the time and my male friends and family thought it was great that I knew how to do things like that. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with what you are doing, its the men!!!!!! Maybe they are intimidated by you because they cant fix their own cars. Good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its not wrong but many men probably feel that youre pushing into 'their territory'. Its the same way with me, I love playing football. But thats a mans thing, or so they say. Just be strong in who you are and you will be fine, and you can prove to the world that you can do anything you want, no matter your gender.
