approx. wot do u say? 10%?

its only about 5% thats all that is allowed. I had a piece of coursework knocked down from a first to a 2.1 because "15% of the class got a first and that is not allowed" stupid really. why are we punished because several people did well? its a discrase

10% is a good estimate across the board. For any particular subject, or university, it could be 5% to 15%. If it goes over 15%, even at Oxford or Cambridge, then it's sloppy marking, because they're not allowed to have been as picky as that when admitting the students 3 or 4 years before.
