both my kids were on regular milk at 5 months and it didn't bother them abit. years ago there were no fancy formulas to put babies on and everybody lived. formulas were just put out to make money off of because your child either pretty near starves to death on them or get constipated. like i said my kids are fine

Well, like my grandma says...they didn't have formula back in the day when she had kids and they turned out just fine. If you ask any doctor they will tell you to wait as long as you can, usually around a year before giving your child milk. If you do decide to give him milk, do it slowly. Give him half water and half milk at first and slowly put more milk then water as time goes by. The milk can upset his stomach and make him gassy. You also want to be careful because some babies develop food allergies.

No. Cow's milk should not be introduced until one year of age, not only because of the risk of milk allergy, but also because it is too low in iron, which is essential for the development of baby's brain. See http://www.homemade-baby-food-recipes.com/milk-allergy-in-baby.html for advice about introducing cow's milk/dairy foods to baby.

Absolutely not! Please check with your pediatrician as most of them keep children on formula or breast milk for 6 months or longer. The reason is nutrition and not having a child develop allergies to cow's milk.
