If you don't receive your social security check in the mail, what is the procedure for getting a replacement check and how long does it take?

You have to let them know you didnt get it. It usually takes about 2 weeks to get the replacement check in the mail. It's a hassle to wait that long for it, but you have to go through it. It's your check. You deserve to get it. Some people get direct deposit. I still get mine in the mail. ALot of others still get it in the mail, also.

go to www.socialsecurity.gov for their site. Are you sure its not Direct Deposit? I haven't heard of checks being mailed anymore.

Get with the times, have it sent to your bank.
