Wondering why I'm here, what the f u c k am I still here for, and...ummm...that's basically it. Oh, and cutting was (and still is ) a big thing thing, wrists, legs, stomach, arms, anything you can reach with a pointy object.

Emo is a slang term used to describe a range of fashion styles and attitudes somewhat affiliated with emo music and its related scenes. As an adjective, emo can describe a
style of fashion or music; or a general state of unhappiness or melancholy (as in "to feel emo"). Emo is also used as a noun, often pejoratively, to identify a member of the "emo scene" or someone viewed as fitting the "emo" stereotype.

Emo is short for emotive hardcore, and used to be only a type of music. Rites of Spring is one example of an early emo band.
Now, it's mostly a label for people who wear tight jeans, tight shirts, and have multicolored hair that's usually parted to the side and covers some of the face. They like rock/pop/metal/indie/etc music. The lyrics aren't usually very good.

It's actually kind of funny and adorable sometimes.
Emo guys any ways....
They usually have shaggy hair over their face- black hair, pale face.
Tighter fiting jeans.
Form fitting T-shirts.
They're often times classified as suicidal and what not... really they're just "in touch with their feelings"
I really like Brand New, they're called an emo band. A lot of the music is very emotional, powerful, angry and sad.

It's a 'clique' style, I guess. Not exactly hard-core, but not softies either.
