Check out "Night Mother" by Marsha Norman and "Five Women Wearing the Same Dress" by Alan Ball. Both have some good monologues, and are pretty obscure, so five other people at an audition won't be doing the same thing.

Let us know what kinds of things you really love doing and we'll find you a killer monologue. If it's for an audition, let us know about the character you're auditioning for.

Something by David Mamet like 'speed the plow' or
for something vintage but still relevent
'the Little foxes' by Lillian hellman.
If you find a copy of the film, the role of Regina is played by Bette Davis.

Somebody mentioned David Mamet and another by him "Oleanna" Almost anything, e.g., Uncommon Women and Others by Wendy Wasserstein or " 'night Mother" by Marsha Norman. If you live in the LA area just run over to Sam French and pick the play up from the shelves.

Look at any university library. Plays are in abundance. There are many monolues as well. And don't worry about some of them being dated, you would be surprised at the sheer quantity of feminine empowerment dialogues there have been over the years.
