we are doing a skit at school about aztecs and we need to include 5 cultural things in the skit can someone give me a website or somthing PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE thanks i expecailly need help on the music and the sacraficeing and 2 other culture stuff!!!!!!! help

If you tried Google and Wikipedia, and you didn't find an answer, then you need to try harder. Try googleing "Aztec culture", or "aztec sacrifice". Also, be prepared to do some reading. You might pull up a long article that has some good information, but you have to be willing to take the time to read it! Good luck.

i read a great historical novel once called "Aztec" One thing was that they worshipped a god named quezcoatl(ketz-co-a-tle) whom they believed to be a white man with a beard, kind of resembling Jesus or Cortez. He was the son of the Sun and his mother was a virgin, the legend states.
Also, they had one of the largest populations and one of the most civilized towns outside of rome. Their slaves were the beasts of burden, they did not have mules or horses to plow. They had priests who performed the ritual sacrifices and one especially interesting possible fact was that for the last 5 days of their 365 calander year they did absolutely nothing so as not to anger the gods or rouse the spirits. This had something to do with the number of days in each month and since 5 days were left over they believed these days were the most sacred. During these 5 days they did not speak to one another, no markets were open, no fires for cooking or seeing, and no children were out playing.

I once read that they believed that sacrificing a virgin
to the gods would prevent an earthquake.
