That's a tricky question since they all have great qualities. Nonetheless, I would say Steve Harris, because he wrote most if not all of the Maiden tunes and rebuilt his band so many times. I was in an Iron Maiden tribute band called Iron Medley, and playing 9 tunes in a row is pretty grueling for me. He did it day in day out for years and is still going, and that's impressive. I don't think there is a "best" player because it's all relative. Check out Jaco Pastorious, that's some killer bass.

Out of these three i would have to say Cliff williams but Cliff Burton is one of the best base players i have ever seen.
