Do you think we will get much animosity towards us for settling in your country and getting jobs etc.

Unemployment is high in Canada, so that does create animosity, yes, unless you have a much-sought-after profession.

no... most canadians i have met love the british... british culture, british accents, british royalty... its why we still accept the queen as a monarch... feelings are different among the french though

We have the Queen on our money. I always wondered why we don't have open borders. My family originally came from England on my moms side.
